We would like to take a moment to tell you who we are and what makes SpiritQuest Retreats so special. Our retreats take place on both the beautiful islands of Maui and Kauai and in Sedona, Arizona. Many people who call us have been drawn to these power points on the planet. Why are they so powerful? Sedona is a place for anchoring. It exudes the male energies of fire red, solid spires of density. The sharp angles and monumental towers are a stark contrast against the desert pastels of the evening sky. The wide open country and the Vortex vibration draw people from all over the world, including very talented guides and healers.
Sedona's ancient rocks and wise Juniper trees are a perfect place to tap into the silence required to once again find our balance. What a perfect place to seek a retreat. Arizona native, Katherine Preston Lash and her husband, Ed Preston, travel back and forth between Hawaii and Sedona in order to hold the space and create a bridge. This bridge was formed by Hawaiian Kahuna, Aunti Nahi when after a session she handed us a peice of coral in the natural shape of a heart and asked us to take it home in order to form the bridge. I was in tears and told her that I could not take anything from the island. She assured me that I had permission as long as it set on our special alter.
Since then Antie Nahi, who recently passed away, has been with us both in Sedona and Maui. She continues to do her work and guide us to this day. So why did we choose Hawaii as our partner location? Maui and Kauai embody the female aspect of the planet, the Mother ocean embracing and rocking her children, the green and wet lushness of her waterfalls and sacred land.
